56 Year Old - Vietnam Vet -
With Cancer Seeking Financial Help
 | I'm a 56 Year Old
Vietnam Vet diagnosed with Bladder Cancer 2 years ago.
I have applied and been turned down for VA Disability
because my Cancer was not service connected. Two weeks
ago I was admitted to a local hospital ( Because I was
in no shape to get to the VA Hospital ) and was found
to have a Bladder Infection. I have been on KCG
Treatments for two years and felt the symptoms I was
having was from the treatments. I was wrong. The VA
has now found "something" on my vertabrae. |
| I am to go into the
VA again Friday for a Bone Scan and Chest Xray.
Because of the symptoms I believe the Cancer has gone
from my Bladder to my Prostrate and Lungs. Of that, I
am not 100% sure and will not know until Friday August
15, 2008. But, I do know that I haven't worked for
many months and have had to pay for Co-Payments for
two years and am now broke enough that I could use
some Financial Help. I CANNOT pay for this help back.
And, NO, I am not destitute, have no food and losing
my house. But, my wife is 63 years old. |
| Yesterday, August 12
was our 2nd Aniversary. She has worked all her life
for the house we have and I have no desire to be a
financial burden to her ( Or, Anyone else for that
matter ). If I can sustain MYSELF; she will be OK when
I pass on. And, If I am able to work some I can assure
you I will. I plan to apply for SS Disability, but ,
even if it is approved, it may be too late. If you
would care to help I would appreciate it. A dollar or
two - Everything helps. I can only accept help through
Paypal. There is a good reason for this. Paypal has
already checked me out; has my personal information
which insures to you that I am real; have a residence
and am still alive. |
