Mother of two pleads. Father
sole breadwinner. Please help.
 | I am Nora, 28 years
old. My husband, Rozan, 29 years old. I am unemployed
mother of two children, Ros 4 years old and Zali
1 1/2 years old. My husband is a delivery driver
earning SGD$1200. |
| Both of our children
did not attend any nursery due to our constraint
budget. However, we will try our best to save up money
for Ros education next year when it is compulsory for
her as set by our government. |
| We do not live
luxuriously. We do not even have a computer at home. I
am using a public computer in the public library. I am
not able to work as I have thalassemia intermediate
which cause me to get tired easily. I am a
stay-at-home mother. We cannot afford to have a
baby-sitter to look after our children who are
suffering from thalassemia minor. They do not pose any
problems yet. They just have very low blood count now. |
| I wish to ask for
donations from people who are willing to spare us a
few change. My husband cannot cope with the rising
cost of living in Singapore. We are not able to apply
for loans as his salary is not enough to even pay our
bills. We know that we cannot afford a loan and add on
our monthly expenses. |
| We are living in a
2-room rented flat from the government. I pity my
husband so I have recently sign up as a tuition
coordinator so that I can work from home. However, the
telephone bill rises that I have to stop for a while
now. |
| I have sufferred from
pre- and post-natal depression. It costs alot for my
husband. Therefore, I am trying to be happy. However,
it is more & more difficult when my husband &
I are constantly thinking of survival on the salary he
bring home. |
| With your help and
donation, no matter how small it is, I know that it
would greatly help my husband in the household bills,
my medical bills to get treatment every 2-3 months and
also our daily necessities |
