My name is Tracey and I have multiple
sclerosis

Welcome.
This website will be about myself, my family and my
multiple sclerosis. I met the man I love 6 years
ago. He's from the United States, I'm from
Canada. We married June 10 2006. Steve was
diagnosed with Cancer 2007, he had it removed and has
been cancer free since April 2007.

I've been a hairstylist
for 25 years, and I love the job. My husband is
a truck driver so I didn't have any worries about our
future, financially. He's been through so much I
asked him to just come to Canada to live with my son
and I until his permanent resident visa was done.

That was July
2007.
|
I had a great job that
I loved, and was making enough money that I thought I
could take care of the three of us. We wouldn't
be rolling....... if you know what I mean. But
it would be fine for a year or so, then with both of
us working. Life would be easy. We live in a
condo that my parents helped me buy. I adore the
neighbourhood and the home.

Steve's a wonderful
house-husband. I loved coming home to a clean
house and dinner ready. Actually it's always
been a dream of mine. I've been a single parent
most of my son's life. He's 17 now, so this is
amasing, having someone home when he gets home from
school.

On September 25 2007 I
felt a little off. On September 26 2007, after 2
MRI's a neurologist told me, You have MS. My life is
completely different. I've been admitted into
the hospital 4 times since 2007, because of the
multiple sclerosis. And this is only July 31.
Around a full year since my husband came home to take
it easy.

I'm using a walker now,
and sometimes a wheel chair. I've had 6 MRI's
now, and they have always been worse. My husband
is still waiting for his Visa. I haven't been
able to work since Sept 2007, We now have to move into
a bungalo because sometimes I can't go up or down
stairs.

This is why I'm asking
for help.
